The restaurant in Atrium knows who is staying in which room. So dinner and coffee to the room reach the guest's folio without copying from a notepad. Next to it are the kitchen display, the breakfast list, inventory and supplier orders.
An order from the dining room, the bar or a guest room
You open a bill for a room or a table, and a label tells it apart from the rest, for example: table by the window. Items are added from the menu all evening. A discount goes on the order, and the fact it was given stays in the activity history.

A kitchen display with a clock on every order
A full screen for a tablet or monitor by the kitchen. New orders appear by themselves, and the cook moves lines along: waiting, in kitchen, served. The clock runs from the moment the order opens: after 10 minutes it turns orange, after 25 red. A room service order shows the room number and floor, and others show the label.

Charge to the room, settle on departure
If someone is checked in to the room, the order goes on their folio with the Charge to the room button. With an empty room the panel will not allow it. Open orders hold up checkout until you settle them, so nobody leaves with an unpaid dinner by oversight.

Breakfasts are counted from bookings
The Kitchen tab lists rooms with board for the chosen day: bed and breakfast, half board and full board, with the room number and party size. The total covers sit on top. One button jumps to tomorrow, and the Today screen shows reception the same number.

Inventory warns you before the coffee runs out
For each item you set an alert threshold, and a filter shows only low stock. The count of low items is also on the Today screen. On an adjustment you enter a reason and it goes into the activity history, and stock cannot go below zero, so after the season you can see why there are fewer towels.
The gold line on a shelf is the alert threshold.

A supplier order raises stock when it is received
Draft, Ordered, Received. You assign the order to a supplier from your contact list. Clicking Receive delivery raises inventory by the ordered quantities, so nobody copies the wholesaler's invoice line by line.

What this module does not do
Sales from the menu do not take ingredients out of inventory: you change stock with adjustments and received deliveries
The panel does not connect to a fiscal register and prints no fiscal receipts
There is no dining room plan with tables, as a table is a label on the order
Restaurant questions
- Do I need a separate screen in the kitchen?
- Any tablet, laptop or monitor with a browser will do. The kitchen display opens from the panel and refreshes itself.
- Can a walk-in guest order too?
- Yes. An order does not have to be tied to a room. You open it with a table label and settle it by cash, card or transfer.
- Will this replace the fiscal register in my restaurant?
- No. The panel does not connect to a register, and sales to private individuals in Poland are recorded on a fiscal register (art. 111 sec. 1 of the VAT act). Ask your accountant about your case.
- Does selling a dish take products out of inventory?
- No. Inventory does not track recipes. Stock rises when a delivery is received, and you can also change it by hand with an adjustment.
- Do orders show up in reports?
- Yes. Reports show food and drink revenue separately from rooms, and the cash report lists orders paid on the spot.
- I only serve breakfast. Is this module any use?
- Yes, the breakfast list alone counts covers from bookings. You never have to open the menu, the kitchen display or inventory.
